I thought I would follow up the good news of ESSA passage with one more item of good news. NCSS’s C3 Framework is garnering a lot of interest and support across the nation. Some states are even adopting it as their Standards.
In Washington, we are using the C3 (Inquiry Arc and Four Dimensions) as an Instructional Framework.
Either way—standards or instructional framework—emphasis on the C3 is leading to the production of some wonderful teacher resources. I am highlighting just one: Engage New York.
As you have time, please check out the teacher resource toolkit (for your own grade level). Engage New York is making all these inquiries available to support teachers who are using the C3 Framework.
