Have you tried iCivics? Please consider being one of the 30 middle and junior high school teachers to attend the iCivics Institute for teachers in the 19 western counties of Washington. The all-expense paid Institute runs from August 12-14 and will help you become proficient in using the free, online curriculum, including the video games. In addition, you will learn more about the Constitution, the federal courts, the relationship of the federal to the state courts and have actual experiences in the courtroom. An experienced iCivics junior high teacher will offer practical tips for implementation. Clock hours are available.
