Open daily to student and community groups, this exhibit explores timeless lessons of the Holocaust through Anne Frank's words and life story.
Recommended for grades 5-12 and post graduate. Field trip experiences are planned individually for your class or group, and can include a docent tour, a speaker (survivor or descendant), and class projects lead by the Center's education team. Submit entries now! This January we planted a sapling from the historic chestnut tree Anne saw from her attic window at the Seattle Center Peace Garden. The Center was one of 11 places in the U.S. selected to receive a sapling.

During the Holocaust, Anne Frank spent two years hiding in an attic in Amsterdam. Through her window, Anne could see a majestic chestnut tree, which was a symbol of hope and freedom for Anne.
