There are two free Professional Development programs which are available for teachers this year.

1. Either of two Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation Character Development Program classes that are scheduled in Washington and Oregon for April 17 and April 19, 2018. Both of these are free, and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation will pay for substitute teachers for any teacher who attends.

April 17, 2018 in Monmouth, Oregon at Western Oregon University

April 19, 2018 in Tacoma, Washington at Pacific Lutheran University

2. Any of the one week Medal of Honor graduate level professional development classes at Valley Forge this coming summer (2018), which include a CMOHF teacher training.

These classes are free Graduate Level Professional Development Classes held at the Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge PA. You can receive from one to 3 Graduate Credits from these classes.

The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge will also have a booth at the joint WSCSS and OSCSS spring conference in Skamania, Washington on March 9-11, 2018 to answer any questions about either event.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Doug Sheehan at 503-297-8474.
