Western Washington’s Ralph Munro Institute for Civic Education is hosting a week-long summer course, Civil Rights in Washington From 60’s to Present. The course will include lectures on the Western campus and tours of sites past and contemporary movements for civil rights. Class dates are June 25th through June 30th.
Highlights to include visits to the Wing Luke Pan Asian Museum, the Northwest African American Museum, and the Lummi Indian Reservation.
Scholarships and 3 credits are available and applications are due January 9, 2017.
