The Legislature’s annual civic education institute for social studies teachers, Legislative Scholars, will be July 11-15 in Olympia this year.
Registration is open now for any K-12 teachers interested in learning about state government and civics resources for their classrooms.
Up to 30 clock hours will be available. Registration is free and they provide all materials and most meals (participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and other meals).
