Register your 4th-8th Graders in the National Geographic Bee
The National Geographic Bee is an annual competition organized by the National Geographic Society, designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world. Each year, thousands of schools across the United States participate in the National Geographic Bee, competing for college scholarships and the glory of being the National Geographic Bee Champion.
Participants for the state bee come from schools across Washington. Students who are in grades 4-8 are eligible to participate. The top 100 scorers will be invited to participate on Friday, March 31 from 11:15 to 4:15 at Pacific Lutheran University.
The winner of the state bee receives $100 and an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC for the National Geography Bee held in May. The second place winner receives $75 and the third place winner receives $50.
